Naan (Leavened Bread)
Ingredients
- 1kg white flour
- 2 tsp baker’s yeast
- Water
Method
- Take around 200ml of warm water in a bowl & add yeast in it. Keep it for few minutes until yeast rises
- Knead the white flour to a soft consistency with the yeast mixture and add more warm water if required and cover it and keep it at a warm place
- Check if the dough has risen, knead it; it is ready for making Naans.
- Start the grill
- Make balls of fermented dough and roll them flat and bake them in the hot grill on both sides
