Potato and Peas Curry
Ingredients
- 3-4 potatoes
- 250g peas
- 1 onion
- ¾ tin tomatoes
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp garlic
- Salt and black pepper as per taste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Red pepper as per taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 cups water
Method
- Peel potatoes onion.
- Grate onion and sauté in oil and add ginger and garlic.
- Add tomatoes and cook until golden brown and add all the spices.
- Mix diced potatoes and peas in the above mixture.
- Roast the vegetable till it starts sticking with the pan.
- Add water and cover it with occasional stirring.
The cooked vegetable is ready for serving
