Gulab Jamun
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry milk powder
- 3 tbsp self-rising flour
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- A pinch of cardamom
- 1 tsp rose water
- Oil for frying
Method
- Mix sugar, water, rose water and cardamom.
- Boil it and simmer for 2 minutes to make a syrup.
- Kneed milk powder, flour, melted butter with milk to a bit hard consistency.
- Make small balls of the batter.
- Fry these balls in hot oil on slow flame till light brown color.
- Drain the balls on the paper towel.
- Place the balls in the syrup to absorb liquid.
Serve with Ice Cream
