Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 4 green apples
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 round pastry dish
Method
- Wash and peel apples.
- Dice apples in small pieces.
- Sauté apples with sugar and cinnamon till the mixture becomes dry.
- Preheat oven to 145-degree C.
- Grease baking dish with one puff pastry sheet properly in all corners.
- Pour the apple mixture in the dish and cover it with second puff pastry sheet.
- Fit in the puff pastry sheet properly to cover all the apple mixture.
- Give two three lines on the top to escape gas.
- Place the pastry dish in oven for 35 minutes till the top layer becomes light brown in colour.
Serve with Ice – Cream
