Fried Colocasian


  • 500g colocasian
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
  • 1 tbsp oil


  1. Peel colocasia with a peeler
  2. Wash colocasia and dry with paper towel
  3. Cut into very small long strips on a cutting board.
  4. Sauté colocasia and salt in oil with frequent stirring till tender.
  5. Add spices and roast for 2-3 minutes to mix with spices.
