Eggless Cake


  • 2 ½ cups self-rising flour
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 50g milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup crushed nuts


  1. Mix oil, sugar and milk till sugar dissolves.
  2. Add condensed milk, vanilla essence and lemon juice to mix it properly.
  3. Mix in flour and add crushed nuts.
  4. Pour the mixture in baking tray greased with baking paper.
  5. Bake in preheated oven at 140º C for 45 minutes.

SERVE with Custard

Cakes are normally served as starters but serving with ice cream makes them a dessert. Low fat cakes are preferred using oil, low-fat cream or butter.
