Apricot Pie


  • 125g butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1½ cup self-rising flour
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • ½ cup apricot jam
  • ¼ cup water


  1. Chop apricots in small pieces.
  2. Mix self – raising and plain flour.
  3. Blend butter, sugar and vanilla essence.
  4. Pour this blended mixture in a pan and add apricots.
  5. Pour over milk and then flour in the apricots and mix.
  6. Add this mixture in glass dish and cover with aluminium foil.
  7. Keep this pudding mixture in the oven at 100 degrees for 1 hour.
  8. Take out the pudding from pan from hot big pan.
  9. Invert the pudding on the serving plate.

Serve Pudding with Jam on the Top
