• 1 cup bengal gram flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp black cardamom
  • 2 tbsp almonds
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¾ cup sugar


  1. Add water, milk and sugar in a pan.
  2. Boil the mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix crushed cardamom to the boiled mixture.
  4. Sauté butter and Bengal gram flour till light brown.
  5. Add in sugar syrup with constant stirring to avoid lumps.
  6. Continue cooking until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  7. Pour the mixture on a greased flat plate and spread crushed almonds on the top.
  8. Allow it to cool.
  9. Cut into squares.

Serve with tea
