Sprouted Dal Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cup green lentils
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion
- A few leaves coriander
- 2tb sp lemon juice
- Salt & pepper as per taste
- 1 boiled potato (optional)
Method
- Soak lentils over night.
- Tie the lentils in muslin cloth and hang at warm place, preferably on the side of tape.
- Chop cucumber, tomato, onion, potato and coriander leaves.
- Lentils will sprout in a day or two, when the sprout is around 1cm in length, steam in pressure cooker or sauté in a pan with 1 tsp of oil.
- Mix lentils with chopped salad mixture and add salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- Serve cool.
