White Dry Black Pulse (Urd Daal)
Ingredients
- 1 cup white black pulse
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp garlic
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt, red & black pepper as per taste
- A few coriander leaves
- 1½ cup water
- 1 tbsp oil
Method
- Wash the pulse and soak in 1 ½ cup of water for 1 hour.
- Dice onion and tomato.
- Sauté onion ginger and garlic to light brown colour.
- Add tomato and spices and cook till tomatoes are tender.
- Pour pulse with water and cook till pulse is tender.
- Cook the pulse for few minutes to make it dry.
Garnish with Coriander
