Fried Florets
Ingredients
- 2 potatoes
- 200g cauliflower florets
- ½ cup cheese
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt, red & black pepper as per taste
- 100g plain flour
- 100g breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Method
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Prick potatoes with a fork and place in the oven for ½ an hour until cooked.
- Cut cauliflower in florets and place in hot water for 7–10 to make florets tender.
- Peel potatoes and place in a large bowl.
- Cut the cauliflower with fork in very thin slices.
- Mix potatoes in cauliflowers.
- Add cheese and all the spices and mix well.
- Give a shape of long strips.
- Roll in flour and in bread crumbs.
- Fry the florets in oil.
