Peas Paneer


  • 300g peas
  • 250g paneer
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tin tomato
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin seed powder
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
  • 1 tsp oil
  • A few coriander leaves


  1. Dice onion finally.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic till light brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and all the spices.
  4. Mix in peas and cook till peas are tender.
  5. Add paneer and cook and 5 minutes

Garnish with coriander

Grilled Square Paneer is another variation of the above recipe where all the ingredients are same but paneer is lightly grilled and rolled in paneer mixture.
