Potato and Peas Curry


  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 250g peas
  • 1 onion
  • ¾ tin tomatoes
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • Salt and black pepper as per taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Red pepper as per taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 cups water


  1. Peel potatoes onion.
  2. Grate onion and sauté in oil and add ginger and garlic.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until golden brown and add all the spices.
  4. Mix diced potatoes and peas in the above mixture.
  5. Roast the vegetable till it starts sticking with the pan.
  6. Add water and cover it with occasional stirring.

The cooked vegetable is ready for serving
