Shahi Paneer


  • 250g paneer
  • 150ml light milk
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
  • A few coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Oil for frying


  1. Peel onion and dice them finely.
  2. Sauté onion, ginger and garlic to light brown color.
  3. Mix in powder of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
  4. Mix in tomato puree, salt, red and black pepper
  5. Cook the mixture to get smooth consistency.
  6. Mix in milk and heat the mixture for 5 minutes.
  7. Add sliced paneer and cook for 2 minutes.

Garnish with Butter and Coriander Leaves
