Naan (Leavened Bread)


  • 1kg white flour
  • 2 tsp baker’s yeast
  • Water


  1. Take around 200ml of warm water in a bowl & add yeast in it. Keep it for few minutes until yeast rises
  2. Knead the white flour to a soft consistency with the yeast mixture and add more warm water if required and cover it and keep it at a warm place
  3. Check if the dough has risen, knead it; it is ready for making Naans.
  4. Start the grill
  5. Make balls of fermented dough and roll them flat and bake them in the hot grill on both sides
