Gulab Jamun

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dry milk powder
  • 3 tbsp self-rising flour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • A pinch of cardamom
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • Oil for frying
Method:
  1. Mix sugar, water, rose water and cardamom.
  2. Boil it and simmer for 2 minutes to make a syrup.
  3. Kneed milk powder, flour, melted butter with milk to a bit hard consistency.
  4. Make small balls of the batter.
  5. Fry these balls in hot oil on slow flame till light brown color.
  6. Drain the balls on the paper towel.
  7. Place the balls in the syrup to absorb liquid.

Serve with Ice Cream
