Shahi Paneer
Ingredients
- 250g paneer
- 150ml light milk
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 2 black cardamom
- 2 cloves
- 1 tsp ginger
- ½ tsp garlic
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
- A few coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp butter
- Oil for frying
Method
- Peel onion and dice them finely.
- Sauté onion, ginger and garlic to light brown color.
- Mix in powder of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
- Mix in tomato puree, salt, red and black pepper
- Cook the mixture to get smooth consistency.
- Mix in milk and heat the mixture for 5 minutes.
- Add sliced paneer and cook for 2 minutes.
Garnish with Butter and Coriander Leaves
