Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 cups low fat milk
  • ½ cup rice
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tin pineapple slices
  • 2 tsp corn flour
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ cup low fat cream
  • 2 tsp almonds

Method

  1. Boil milk and sugar in a saucepan.
  2. Add rice and simmer till the rice is tender.
  3. Drain pineapples and dissolve corn flour in pineapple’s syrup.
  4. Add corn flour to the rice and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add vanilla essence and whipped cream to the rice and pour to the serving bowl.
