Dum Cauliflower
Ingredients
- 500g cauliflower
- 100g tomato puree
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- 1 onion
- ½ tsp each of ginger and garlic
- Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
- A few coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp oil
Method
- Wash cauliflower and prick with a fork.
- Mix yoghurt, salt and black pepper.
- Rub this mixture on the cauliflower and keep it for marination till ½ an hour.
- Sauté cauliflower in 1 tbsp. of oil with cover to light brown colour.
- Blend onion and sauté onion, ginger and garlic to light brown colour.
- Add tomato puree and cauliflower and cover.
- Cook on low heat till cauliflower is tender and then on high flame to make it dry and crispy.
Garnish with Coriander leaves
