Broccoli Soup


  • 250g broccoli
  • 1 onion
  • ½ tsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  •  ¼ tsp oregano herb
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 1½ cup vegetable stock
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • Salt, black pepper as per taste


  1. Chop broccoli in small brooklets.
  2. Dice onion and grate garlic.
  3. Heat butter in a pan and sauté onion and garlic.
  4. Add corn flour and sauté it for 2 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli and vegetable stock.
  6. Simmer for 5-6 minutes to soften the broccoli.
  7. Add water to the broccoli and blend it in a blender.
  8. Add hot milk to the pureed soup.
