Baby Corn Soup


  • 1 cup baby corn
  • 2 tbsp cabbage
  • 2 tbsp red capsicum
  • 2 tbsp mushrooms
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • Salt, black pepper as per taste
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 4 tsp corn flour
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 5 cups water


  1. Wash all the vegetables.
  2. Cut corn length wise in two.
  3. Dice mushrooms, capsicum into thin pieces and shred cabbage.
  4. In a pan sauté ginger, garlic, chilies and coriander leaves for 2 minutes.
  5. Add corn pieces, soya sauce, salt, pepper and water and let it boil.
  6. Mix corn flour in water and pour into the above mixture with constantly stirring till it thickens slightly.
  7. Add cabbage and cook for 2 minutes.
