Boiled Colocasia
Ingredients
- 500g colocasia
- 100g spinach
- 1 onion
- 2 tsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger
- Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
- 1 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp oil
Method
- Wash colocaisa and boil till tender.
- Peel colocaisa and cut in bigger pieces.
- Peel onion and cut into thin slices.
- Sauté onion and ginger to light brown and add diced spinach and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add all spices and tomato sauce.
- Mix in colocasia and cook on slow fire with occasional stirring for 15- 20 minutes till light brown colour.
Serve with Chapatti or Naan
