Almond Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp almonds
  • ½ cup cabbage
  • 2 flowerets cauliflower
  • 1 potato
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 tsp corn flour
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 5 cups water
  • Salt & black as per taste

Method

  1. Soak almonds in warm water for 10 minutes and peel them.
  2. Make paste of almonds in blender.
  3. Wash all vegetables and blend them in blender.
  4. Dice onion and grate ginger.
  5. Heat butter in a pan and sauté onion, ginger and cumin seeds.
  6. Dissolve corn flour in water and add in onion mixture.
  7. Add vegetables, almond paste and milk to the onion mixture
  8. Blend together to get a uniform mixture.
  9. Boil it for 5-6 minutes.
