Tofu Capsicum

Ingredients:
  • 250g firm tofu
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • ½ tsp garlic
  • Salt, red and black pepper as per taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup water
Method:
  1. Cut tofu in square pieces.
  2. Stir fry tofu to light brown colour.
  3. Dice onion, tomato.
  4. Remove seeds of capsicum and cut in thin long slices.
  5. Sauté onion and ginger in oil.
  6. Add tofu, capsicum, tomato and spices.
  7. Add water and simmer for 8-10 minutes till a thick gravy is formed.

SERVE HOT

Cooking Time (Minutes): 5

Tofu is a paneer made from soya beans and is a good source of proteins for vegetarians. Tofu is available in firm and soft form and is used depending upon the kind it is used for.
