Fried Florets

Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes
  • 200g cauliflower florets
  • ½ cup cheese
  • 2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt, red & black pepper as per taste
  • 100g plain flour
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Prick potatoes with a fork and place in the oven for ½ an hour until cooked.
  3. Cut cauliflower in florets and place in hot water for 7–10 to make florets tender.
  4. Peel potatoes and place in a large bowl.
  5. Cut the cauliflower with fork in very thin slices.
  6. Mix potatoes in cauliflowers.
  7. Add cheese and all the spices and mix well.
  8. Give a shape of long strips.
  9. Roll in flour and in bread crumbs.
  10. Fry the florets in oil.
